what you need
- 1 can (28 ounce) diced tomatoes, drained
- 3/4 cup diced red onion
- 3 Tbsp. fresh minced basil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- Salt and black pepper to taste

In a large bowl combine all the ingredients and toss to combine.
Let stand at least 30 minutes before serving.
