what you need
- Brownie:
- 1 package fudge brownie mix
- 1 stick butter/margarine (melted)
- 1 egg
- 1 bag (16 oz.) milk chocolate chips, divided
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- Topping:
- 1 lb. powdered sugar
- 1 bar (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 2 egg whites
make it
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix brownie mix, butter and 1 egg together until moist. Spread evenly into greased 13x9 pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips and pecans over brownie mixture (save 1/4 cup of chocolate chips for later).
Next, beat powdered sugar, cream cheese and 2 egg whites with electric mixer until fluffy. Pour topping over brownie mixture.
Place in oven for 30 minutes. Sprinkle remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips over cooled brownies and serve.
