what you need
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup eggnog
- 2 cups sugar
- 10 oz. white chocolate, broken into pieces
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tsp. run or rum extract
make it
1. Combine butter, eggnog and sugar in a heavy 2 1/2 to 3 qt. saucepan, bring to a rolling boil, stir constantly. Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking 8 to 10 min. or until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees F, stirring to prevent scorching.
2. Remove from heat; stir in chocolate and nutmeg. Add marshmallow creme, nuts and extract; beat until well blended.
3. Pour into a buttered 8 or 9 in. square pan. Cool at room temperature; cut.
