what you need
- 1 bag (4 lb.) frozen shrimp in shell, peeled
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) pasta noodles (either linguine or spaghetti)
- 1 stick butter or margarine, divided
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup Kraft Asian Sesame Dressing
- 1/4 cup Kraft Shredded Colby/Jack Cheese
- Sprinkle of crumbled bacon
make it
Peel shrimp, wash and set aside. Boil pasta and drain. While still hot, stir in 1/2 stick of butter and sour cream tossing to make sure all noodles are coated, set aside for few minutes.
Place dressing and remaining butter into a deep non stick skillet (butter melts better if sliced into pats). Heat until steaming and add shrimp, keep tossing until all shrimp are pink, only takes about five minutes. Pour shrimp and dressing mixture over noodle mixture and toss until well mixed.
Sprinkle shredded cheese over top of mixture. Add a bit of crumbled bacon and serve.
Notes
I was just messing around looking for a new way to do shrimp and I know that the Asian dressing worked really well with stir frys so I just tried this and my family really pigged out.
