- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp dried minced garlic
- 1/8 tsp ea. salt & pepper
- 1/4 cup Kraft Parm Plus! Garlic Herb Italian Topping
- 1 egg
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. lean ground turkey
- 8 hamburger buns
make it
Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Mix together onion, mushroom, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, salt & pepper, Italian topping, and egg until blended. Add beef and turkey to mixture; mix well.
Divide into 8 equal balls. Form each ball into a patty. Place patties on open grill, and reduce heat to medium-low. Grill for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and juices run clear.
Serve each patty on a bun.
Notes
These burgers are full of flavor! I have 4 small children, and all of them loved these burgers. They were surprised to find out that they had mushrooms in them.
I decided to add the mushrooms and turkey to make my money go a little further. I also needed to add some extra flavor, and ran across my bottle of Kraft Parm Plus! in my refrigerator. I was very pleased with the outcome. The flavor and texture won my family, and myself, over. I made sure and wrote this recipe down in my book so that I wouldn't forget it.
