what you need
- 1 bag extra wide egg noodles
- 1 or 2 cans tuna
- 2 cans cream of chicken or cream of mushroom
- 1 bag family size potato chips
- Salt and pepper
make it
Preheat oven to 375°F. Cook pasta as usual. Add tuna to the soup and cook. Crush bag of chips into small pieces.
In a baking pan or casserole dish, add one layer of noodles top with lots of chips and pour some sauce over top then repeat for a second layer. Salt and pepper to taste.
Pop in oven for about 15 minutes or until golden brown on top.
Notes
One way this can go wrong is if you pour too much sauce on bottom and not enough on top. That might make it a little dry. Try to even it out and add as much or little chips/tuna to taste. One of my favorite recipes from my mom.
