what you need
- 1 lb. spaghetti
- 1 can (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 jar Taco Bell Medium Salsa
- 1 lb. medium peeled and deveined cooked shrimp
make it
In a large pot put water to boil for spaghetti. When water is boiling add in spaghetti.
In another medium to large pot put in crushed tomatoes and bring to a low boil. Reduce heat and add can of tomato paste and 1 1/2 cups of water. Stir until tomato paste is dissolved and then add the salsa. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes.
Then add in shrimp and simmer for another 5 minutes. Drain pasta and coat with sauce. Enjoy with garlic bread.
Notes
The pasta and sauce can be done together or you can just make the sauce and freeze it for later. You also can use mild or hot salsa according to your taste. You also can use fresh shrimp; you would just cook it in the sauce for a few more minutes.
