what you need
- 1 package Ghirardelli Brownie Mix
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 1 extra large egg
- Topping:
- 2 packages (8 oz. each) Philadelphia Cream Cheese, Regulare or Fat Free), softened
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 2 extra large eggs
- 1 bar (12 oz.) Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Candy Bar, chopped or grated

l. Preheat oven to 325°F. Spray a 13 x 9 -inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
2. Combine the Ghirardelli Brownie Mix, 1/3 cup water, canola oil and 1 egg in a large mixing bowl. Mix the batter with an electric mixer on medium speed for 1 minute. Evenly spread the brownie batter in the prepared baking dish and set aside.
3. Combine the softened cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl and mix with an electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute or until cream cheese mixture is light and fluffy. Add the 2 eggs to the cream cheese mixture and mix on low speed for 1 more minute. Evenly spread the cream cheese topping over the brownie batter.
4. Bake the brownies on the center oven rack for 40-45 minutes. Sprinkle with the chopped chocolate candy bar and cool the brownies completely before cutting into 24 squares.
Notes
Place brownies in a sealed container and keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
You can also sprinkle on chopped nuts with the chopped candy bar.
