what you need
- 3 large chicken breasts
- 1 box Stove Top Stuffing Mix for Chicken
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 3 Kraft String Mozzarella Cheese, cut in half
- 1 jar (16 oz.) spaghetti sauce
- Angel hair or spaghetti pasta
make it
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cut the chicken breasts in half horizontally to make 6. Place on plastic wrap and cover with plastic wrap. Pound with fist until flattened. Combine stuffing with water until moistened. Add one tablespoon of Italian seasoning (like oregano, basil) to the stuffing mix. Cut string cheese in half to make 6 separate pieces.
Grease 9x13 baking pan. Take flattened chicken breasts and place small amount of stuffing on each one. Then place half cut string cheese on each one and roll chicken around the ingredients and place seam side down.
Bake for 30-40 minutes then cover with spaghetti sauce and bake until chicken is completely cooked. Cook pasta after adding sauce to the chicken so both are done at the same time. Serve chicken with pasta and cover with spaghetti sauce.
Notes
Don't pound the chicken breasts too thin or they will get mushy.
Also don't use too much stuffing or the chicken won't stay rolled.
