what you need
- 2 cans (16 oz. each) salmon (red)
- 1/2 Tbsp. dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. seafood seasoning, or (1/4 tsp. curry powder)
- 1/2 cup KRAFT real mayonnaise
- 1/8 tsp. onion powder (opt.)
- 3/4 cup plain bread crumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. baking powder
make it
In a large mixing bowl: add first 7 ingredients. Mix thoroughly. In a small mixing bowl: Add last 3 ingredients, mix vigorously with a fork. Add contents of small bowl to contents in large bowl: mix all thoroughly.
Form into 10 equal cakes.
Fry in oil, over medium high heat until golden and brown.
Notes
A good quality red salmon always brings out a better flavor.
