what you need
- 2 lb. ground turkey
- 1 red pepper, chopped
- 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
- 1 bunch scallions, chopped
- 1/2 head Napa cabbage, finely chopped
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Olive oil
make it
Mix all ingredients except olive oil.
Form into burgers.
Cook over medium heat in pan with olive oil.
Notes
When I'm done frying all the burgers I add a little more olive oil to pan. Add other 1/2 head of Napa cabbage (chopped) and saute till wilted, scraping all the burger bits and flavor from the pan into the cabbage.
I will serve the burgers as an entree (no bun) with the cabbage on the side and some baked sweet potato fries. It’s a great tasting healthier version of a burger and fries meal.
