Italian Turkey Sausage over Pasta and Potatoes

what you need
- 1 red pepper
- 1 green pepper
- 6 to 8 diced red potatoes
- Olive oil
- Dried mixed herb seasoning
- Salt
- 1 box fettuccini pasta (whole wheat)
- 1 bag broccoli
- Butter (optional)
- 1 pkg. turkey Italian sausage
- 1 bottle Kraft Italian Fat Free Dressing

Slice red and green peppers into thin strips. Dice red potatoes, cover in slightly with olive oil, roll in dried mixed herbs, and cook over med heat in 1 1/2 teaspoon olive oil. Cook for 20 min or until slightly soft.
Begin boiling water with 1/2 teaspoon of salt for pasta and boiling water for broccoli and peppers. Steam broccoli and peppers for 15 to 20 min or until desired firmness/softness (butter is optional to add to boiling water for broccoli and peppers. Boil pasta till al dente (follow directions on packaging).
Slit turkey Italian sausage down the middle and pan fry in olive oil (enough to cover bottom of frying pan). Cook on both sides for 10 minutes on med to high heat until medium brown in color.
With pasta, broccoli, peppers, and potatoes toss together with Italian dressing. Complete with diced Italian sausage placed on top and enjoy.
Notes
This recipe can be altered with balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
