what you need
- 2-3 lb. round or flank steak
- 1 tablespoon flour
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Creole Seasoning, to taste (optional)
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 medium green pepper, sliced
- 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, do not drain
- 1/2 can water
make it
Spray bottom and sides of crock-pot with olive oil spray. Place steak in bottom of crock-pot, and sprinkle with flour; season with spices.
Place onion slices over meat, follow with green pepper slices. Add the tomatoes and water.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours.
Notes
This is great served with mashed garlic potatoes and baby sweet peas!
If you desire, you can quickly brown the meat in a skillet (or crock pot insert, if it can be used on the stove) prior to assembling the rest of the ingredients.
