what you need
- 1 pkg. (32 oz.) frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 8 - 12 oz. sour cream
- 2 - 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 med. chopped onion
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Milk & water (to desired level for soup)

Mix all ingredients together in a 3 1/2 to 5 quart crock-pot/slow cooker.
Turn on High and let cook for approximately 6 hours.
