what you need
- 1 cup butter
- 2 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup cocoa
- 2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
make it
Preheat oven to 350°F. Blend butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time and blend well. Add cocoa and vanilla. In a separate bowl sift flour, and salt and then add to cocoa mixture and if desired add nuts.
Place in a greased 9x13 inch cake pan.
Bake for about 20 minutes.
