what you need
- 1 pound ground pork sausage
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
- 1 pkg. crescent roll dough
make it
Crumble sausage in skillet, brown, and drain. Cube the cream cheese and stir into drained sausage.
Pat crescent roll dough into a pizza pan or jelly roll pan to create crust. Spread sausage & cream cheese mixture over crust.
Bake as per directions on crescent roll dough package.
Notes
This can be altered to create mini turnovers, roll-ups, mini tarts, or other variations.
I've served it with great reviews for breakfast buffets as well as for appetizers and at showers for brides and moms-to-be.
