Cranberry Glazed Boston Butt Pork Roast

what you need
- 1 diced sweet onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- Olive oil
- 1 cup apple sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. soy
- A couple dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 3-5 lb. pork butt roast (has bone)
- 1/4 cup water
- Pepper
- Salt
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder, divided
- 1/2 cup ketchup, divided
- 1 can cranberry sauce, whole, or jelled
make it
First, saute onions and garlic in olive oil. Add apple sauce, vinegar, soy, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer on med heat about 5 min.
Place roast in crock-pot, put in 1/4 cup water and turn on high. Salt and pepper meat. Return to glaze/sauce and pour mixture over roast. Then sprinkle on 1/2 chili powder and 1/4 cup ketchup. Then add the rest of the chili powder, and the rest of the ketchup. With a fork mash cranberry sauce while still in can and pour over roast and mixture.
Cook on high 4-5 hours or until the meat starts to fall off the bone.
