what you need
- 1 package Honey Maid Chocolate Grahams
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 bottle chocolate ice cream hard shell, divided
- 4 large size peanut butter cup candies, cut into 1/4 pieces
make it
Crush package of graham crackers with a food processor and combine in a bowl with melted margarine. Form the mixture into a pie dish. Set in freezer while you mix the filling.
Mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, margarine, milk and vanilla in a large mixing bowl mixing with a hand mixer on medium until creamy. Scoop half the mixture into the pie shell. Pour half of the bottle of ice cream topping on top and set in freezer to set for about 30 minutes.
Add the additional peanut butter mixture to the pie, pour the rest of the ice cream topping on top, and top off with pieces of the chocolate peanut butter cups. Place in freezer for an additional 60 minutes or in the refrigerator overnight until fully set, and then slice and serve. Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
Notes
I came up with this recipe because of a co-worker loving chocolate and peanut butter.
Just a small slice is enough because it can be very rich.
