what you need
- 1/2 box linguine
- 4 Tbsp. butter, divided
- 4 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil, divided
- 2 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1 pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- Juice of 1 small lemon
- Parmesan cheese

Boil linguine as directed on package.
While the linguine is boiling, melt 2 Tbsp. of butter in 2 Tbsp. of olive oil over medium high heat. When the oil is hot, add the garlic and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add shrimp, cook until bright pink and remove from pan.
Add the remaining 2 Tbsp. of butter and olive oil to pan. When butter is melted, add the wine and lemon juice. Bring to a boil and then add the shrimp and cooked linguine to the pan. Toss together and sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serve while hot.
Notes
You can add more or less garlic, depending on your taste.
