Inside-Out Bar-B-Q Bacon Burger

what you need
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 4 (1 oz.) slices Kraft Cheddar Cheese
- 8 slices Oscar Mayer Bacon
- 4 Kaiser rolls or other sturdy bun/roll- lightly toasted
- 1/4 cup barbeque sauce
- 1/2 cup barbeque mayonnaise (recipe below)
- 4 slices onion
- 4 slices tomato
- 4 lettuce leaves
- Barbeque Mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. barbeque sauce
- 1/2 cup Kraft Mayonnaise

Season the ground beef with salt, pepper and onion powder. Divide meat into 4 equal portions. Divide each portion in half and form into 8 thin burgers.
Place a slice of cheese onto 4 of the burgers and top with the remaining 4 burgers. Seal the two patties together to form one burger, sealing the cheese in between. Repeat this until there are 4 burgers. Wrap each burger with two slices of bacon.
Grill for 4 minutes on each side basting with the barbeque sauce.
To assemble the burger, spread the top bun with barbeque mayonnaise. Place burger on the bottom bun, top with onion, tomato and lettuce finishing off with the top bun.

My youngest daughter created this recipe for a burger contest at a major restaurant chain. She didn't win the contest, but we gained a delicious burger.
