what you need
- 1 pack Oreo Cookies
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 large pkg. chocolate instant pudding mix
- 3 cups milk (for pudding)
- 1 12 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 tub (16 oz.) Cool Whip, divided
make it
Crush up whole pack of Oreo cookies. Using half of what was crushed, mix with melted butter. Mix chocolate pudding according to package directions to make pudding. Mix the entire package of cream cheese with half a tub of Cool Whip setting the rest of the Cool Whip aside.
Using a 13x9 glass dish, push the Oreo Cookies with the butter into the bottom of the dish forming a crust. Pour cream cheese mixture over the crust spreading it out evenly. Pour the chocolate pudding over the cream cheese mixture. Use the rest of the Cool Whip to put on top of the pudding. With the remaining Oreo Cookies, sprinkle on top of the Cool Whip.
Cover with foil and set in refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
Notes
This is something I enjoy making ahead of time because it is always better after it has been refrigerated for 24 hours.
