what you need
- 1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
- 1 Tbsp. apricot, peach, pineapple or cherry preserves
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup quick cooking rolled oats
- 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
- 3 Tbsp. snipped dried tart cherries or dried apricots (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 lb. uncooked ground turkey
- 4 Kaiser rolls or hamburger buns, split & toasted
- Mayonnaise/salad dressing
- Lettuce, tomato slices, or whatever you like on your burgers

For glaze: in a small bowl, stir the mustard & preserves together; set aside.
In a medium bowl, beat egg with fork. Stir in oats, celery, dried fruit (if desired), salt & pepper. Add ground turkey; mix well. Shape the turkey mixture into 4 (3/4 inch thick) patties.
Grill patties on uncovered grill, over medium heat 14 to 18 minutes or until no longer pink (165°F. internal temperature) turning once halfway through grilling, brushing with glaze during the last minute of grilling. Brush any remaining glaze onto patties. Serve on buns with your favorite condiments. ENJOY!!
