what you need
- 1 package (14 oz.) stir fry vegetables
- 1 box Kraft Macaroni & Cheese
- 1 can (10.5 oz.) cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 Tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 package shredded cheese - Mexican blend, cheddar, or any other favorite cheese (optional)
make it
1. Cook the stir fry vegetables as instructed on the package. Cook the macaroni noodles as indicated on the package. Combine both into one pot.
2. Add the cream of chicken soup to the pot and mix thoroughly. Next, add the cheese powder, 1/4 cup milk and 2 Tablespoons of butter (or margarine). Mix thoroughly.
3. Add some shredded cheese (very optional).
Notes
This is a quick low budget item.
You can cook the stir fry and the macaroni in separate containers at the same time. This make the overall prep time less than 15 minutes. I have made dinner in less than 10 minutes this way.
