Mexican Taco Dogs with Fresh Salsa

what you need
- Salsa:
- 2 medium-large tomatoes
- 1 small onion
- 1/4 cup cilantro chopped
- 1 jalapeno pepper (optional)
- Juice of 2 key limes or 1 Lime
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- Salt to taste
- 8 corn tortillas
- 1 pkg. Oscar Mayer Beef and Cheddar Hot Dogs
- 1 cup cooking oil
- 4 toothpicks
make it
Chop all salsa ingredients and place in container in refrigerator.
Warm corn tortilla. Take Oscar Mayer Beef and Cheddar Hot Dogs and roll into tortilla and place toothpick through to hold closed. Add another so there are 2 taco dogs per toothpick.
Heat oil in medium fry pan and place taco dogs in oil. Cook until golden brown. Serve with fresh salsa.
Notes
These make great after school snacks, and game day snacks for Dad and friends. you can also serve with Chilibeans as a dip.
