Slow Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

what you need
- 2 medium onions, sliced or wedged
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. corned beef brisket
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup yellow mustard
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 10 to 12 whole black peppercorns
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 medium head of cabbage, cored and cut into wedges
- Salt to taste
make it
Put onion in the bottom of the crock-pot. Add brisket. Mix garlic, mustard, water, peppercorns, and brown sugar in a small bowl and pour evenly over the meat. Add cabbage wedges.
Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hours or high for 5-6 hours or until meat is at desired tenderness.
Put meat on a platter or cutting board and slice. Put in plates and cover with cabbage/onion mix and juice.
