Spaghetti with Cauliflower and Parmesan

what you need
- 1 lb. (500g) spaghetti
- 1 head cauliflower, broken into small florets
- 1/2 cup (125ml) olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
make it
1. Cook spaghetti in a large saucepan of boiling salted water until al dente. Meanwhile, steam or cook cauliflower florets in boiling lightly salted water until tender.
2. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan. Add onion, cook and stir until golden. Add garlic, and cook until golden brown. Stir in cauliflower and seasonings.
3. Drain pasta, and transfer to a large serving bowl. Toss with onion and cauliflower mixture, and top with cheese.
