what you need
- 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 medium bananas, sliced thin or mashed
- 1 homemade (8 inch) or ready made (6 oz. pkg.) graham cracker crust
- 1 or 2 (for 2 pies) boxes Jell-O No Bake Original Cheesecake Mix
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Sliced bananas or other fruit for topping (optional)
make it
Mix together cream cheese, vanilla, and bananas on medium to high until creamy consistency. Spread onto bottom (about 1/4 inch thick) of crust. Chill.
Make the Jell-O No Bake Cheesecake according to pkg. directions. Spread The Jell-O No Bake Cheesecake on top of the bottom filling.
Sprinkle lightly on top with a cinnamon/sugar mix (make yourself or can buy at grocery store already mixed). Can top with sliced bananas or any fruit you like. Chill. Bottom filling makes two pies with another Jell-O No Bake Cheesecake.
Notes
The story behind this recipe is that Bob had a dream about it and decided to try and make it, thus the name, Bob's Dreamy Banana Cheesecake.
