Polenta - an Italian Holiday Treat

what you need
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup light cream or evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup butter, divided
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper or paprika, divided
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 can (8 oz.) whole kernel corn, including liquid
- 1 small onion
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 cup KRAFT 2% Sharp Cheddar Cuts
make it
1. Bring broth, cream, and 1 Tbsp. butter, salt, and 1/2 tsp. pepper or paprika to a boil over moderate-to-high heat.
2. Stir in cornmeal, corn, and onion. Reduce heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes (or until thickened), stirring frequently.
3. Stir in 1 Tbsp. butter, flour, remaining pepper (or paprika) and Cheddar Cuts.
4. If desired, pour into a baking dish and dot with remaining butter. Bake at 350 degrees until top is browned. Serve hot.
