- 4-6 chicken breast or thighs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups applesauce
- 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1/4 tsp. red pepper

Can be baked in oven or crock-pot. If baking in oven, preheat oven to 325°F.
Place chicken in baking dish or crock-pot. Add onion. Mix other ingredients into applesauce, and pour over chicken.
Bake in oven for 1 hour or in crock-pot on low for 4-6 hours.
