what you need
- 1 box (12 oz.) Zatarain's Dirty Rice
- 2 lb. ground Angus beef
- 1 Tbsp. seasoning mix (your choice)
- 5 red bell peppers
- 1 bag (1&3/4 cups) Kraft Italian Three Cheese shredded cheese
make it
Make rice without meat. Brown ground beef with seasoning mix and drain.
Cut tops of peppers and clean them out. Let beef and rice cool for about 12 minutes. Mix beef, rice, and cheese. Grease a deep baking dish big enough to hold all peppers. Place peppers upright in dish, fill with mix.
Bake at 350°F for 45-50 minutes.
Notes
You could substitute ground beef for ground sirloin, ground sausage, ground chicken, or ground turkey. Seasoning mix should match what meat you use.
