what you need
- 2 large chicken breasts
- 1 package stuffing mix
- 1 box large pasta shells
- 1 can cream mushroom soup
- 1 can cream chicken soup
- 1 can cheddar cheese soup
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cups milk
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cube chicken into bite-sized pieces and cook until slightly browned. Prepare stuffing mix in separate saucepan, according to directions on box. Bring water to a boil in large saucepan and cook shells until soft. Combine 3 soups, vegetables, chicken broth, and milk and mix until well-blended (may be watery - will thicken as it cooks). Set aside.
Combine cooked chicken and stuffing and mix well. Stuff each intact pasta shell (don't use broken ones) with tablespoonful of chicken and stuffing mix and place in a 13x9 (or larger) baking dish. Shells do not need to be spaced out, so cram as many as possible into the dish, without stacking. When the stuffing mixture is gone (you may have extra pasta shells), pour the soup mixture evenly over the shells.
Bake covered for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes.
