what you need
- 1/2 cup Kraft Mexican Style Shredded Cheese
- 1/3 cup re-fried beans
- Kraft Sandwich Shop Chipotle Flavored Mayonnaise
- 2 whole wheat tortillas
make it
Preheat skillet to medium heat.
Filling: Mix the cheese, beans and a tablespoon of the mayo in a small bowl and set aside.
Spread a thin layer of the mayo on one side of the tortillas. Place them mayo-side down on the skillet. Wait about 15 seconds for them to soften.
Place half of the filling on one half of each tortilla. Fold the other half of the tortilla over the filling. Cook until they are golden brown and crispy. Slice each quesadilla into thirds and serve.
Notes
The tortillas are the best part of this recipe. The chipotle mayo flavors the tortillas and makes them nice and crispy.
Be creative with the filling. (Add chicken, peppers, etc.) I never make the same quesadilla twice.
Also, the amount of filling is negotiable. Mine are always deliciously sloppy and served with a fork. Use less for neat finger food.
