what you need
- 1 small onion, sm. dice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small red pepper, diced
- Oil for sautéing
- 32 oz. refried beans with Chorizo
- 24 oz. Kraft Shredded Sharp Cheddar, divided
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 4 Tbsp. lime juice
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 4 small cans chopped green chilies
- Breakstone's Sour Cream
- 2 tsp. Taco Bell Hot Sauce (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sauté onion, garlic and red pepper until soft, set aside.
Empty beans into a baking dish and stir in 16 oz. of shredded cheese, the chili powder, cumin, lime juice, salt, chilies and Taco Bell Hot Sauce (if desired) then add sautéed mixture and mix well. Cover with remaining 4 oz. cheese.
Bake for about 20 to 30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips and the sour cream on the side.
Notes
Can also be heated in crock-pot on high for easier transport but add an hour heating time.
