Chocolate Peanut Butter Fruit Spread

what you need
- 1/2 square Baker's Unsweetened Baking Chocolate Squares
- 7 Tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter, divided
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla
make it
Shave chocolate, place on microwave-safe small plate. Melt 40 seconds.
Immediately, stir in 6 Tablespoons Natural Peanut Butter (room temperature, stirred in the jar). Stir chocolate and peanut butter, until blended.
Add 2 teaspoons pure vanilla. Stir until blended. Add 1 tablespoon peanut butter and swirl. Slice apples and spread onto the slices.
Notes
The spread will become more firm, if placed in a covered container in the refrigerator, which can be acceptable. It just takes a bit more effort to put it onto the fruit. Also, it doesn't have the same appearance.
