what you need
- 3 onions
- 3 lbs. Vermont Cheddar Cheese
- 6 cups whole milk
- 1 lb. butter
- 3 cups flour (unbleached)
make it
Mince onions. Shred the cheddar.
Cook slowly under low flame the milk & cheddar. Add the onions, butter, and flour.
Must heat for 2 hours stirring occasionally.
Notes
Soup will be of thick texture. No herbs need to be added. The cheddar mixed with the butter and onions will suffice. The end result is a very tasty and filling meal.
