what you need
- 3 tablespoons good bourbon*
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon minced ginger root
- 1 lb. salmon steak or fillets
make it
In a small bowl, mix marinade ingredients. Pour into a resealable bag. Add salmon and refrigerate 1-6 hours.
Preheat gas grill to max high; shut off one side and lower the other side to low.
Remove salmon from marinade. Place salmon on Reynolds wrap and loosely wrap so it can steam.
Place salmon in wrap on non-heat side and cook for 25 minutes (3/4 lb piece). Test with fork (should be flaky).
Notes
*The bourbon needs to be the of the same quality that you serve to guest.
