what you need
- 1 (2 lb.) chicken
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped leaves of celery tops
- 5 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
- 2 tsp. ground sage
- 2 Tbsp. dried parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 2 celery sliced sticks
- 1 bag (16 oz.) egg noodles

Place chicken in 2 gallon soup pot. Cover with water. Add onion, celery tops, bouillon, poultry seasoning, sage, parsley, garlic bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium, and cook for 45 minutes.
Remove chicken and set aside to cool. Add carrots, margarine, potatoes, salt and celery. Continue to simmer.
Take chicken and pick all white meat from breasts wings and parts of thighs. Add to pot. Simmer till potatoes are done. Add egg noodles. Soups on when noodles are done.
