Frosted banana cookies

what you need
  • 3/4 cup Crisco solid shortening
  • 3/4 cup G&H brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 mashed ripe bananas
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 2 cups Gold Medal all prupose flour
  • Brown Sugar Frosting
  • 6 TLBS G & H brown sugar
  • 4 TLBS milk
  • 4 TLBS Land of Lakes butter
  • Powered sugar to spreading consisitency.
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
make it
Cream shortening and brown sugar.
Add egg, vanilla and bananas beat well.
Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Drop by heaping teaspoon on a parchment lined cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10/11 minutes.
Cool on wire rack 15 minutes.

Frost cooled cookies.
This is a great way to use those ripe bananas.
