Lone Star Beer Dip

what you need
  • 2 pounds extra-extra lean ground beef
  • 2 packages taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 can (12 oz.) beer
  • 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 2 1/2 cups Kraft Grated Process Cheese
make it
Brown ground beef and break into small pieces. Drain off all fat. Pat with paper towel to remove all fat. Very important!

Add taco seasoning. Stir in water, beer, and tomato paste. Simmer 10 minutes, cover. Transfer to baking dish. Add cheese.

Bake at 325 degrees F for 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted. Serve warm. Use tortilla chips for dipping.
Notes
Can use any kind of beer; Bud, Millers, etc.

Drain all fat from meat is very very important.

If you are a cheese lover, add more. Can be mild or sharp.
