White Chocolate Nutty Cafe Cookies

what you need
  • 1 pkg. (16 oz.) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 cups quick oats
  • 1 cup white chocolate bits
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray cookie sheets with nonstick spray. Break up cookie dough into large bowl and add sugar and vanilla; mix well. Add oats, white chips, and nuts.

Drop onto sheets with cookie scoop; 2 inches apart.

Bake for about 8 minutes. Bake until brown edges or until cookies puff up.

Rated  by CindyLu53 on 11/13/2005 I baked these for a church bake sale. They were very popular. They did take longer to bake than the recipe indicated; my batches were just right after about 12 minutes. Could be the different size of the scoops of dough on the cookie sheet.
