what you need
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can tomato soup without added water
  • 1 can (15 oz.) peas undrained
  • Salt & pepper
  • Mashed potatoes
make it
Brown ground beef.

Add tomato soup and undrained peas. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Simmer for a couple of minutes.

Serve over hot mashed potatoes.
Notes
I said this recipe takes 25 minutes because I included cook time for potatoes.

Rated  by nailheadslick on 8/16/2009 Hi, I like the fact you used peas instead of corn or mixed veggies. This is one of those dishes you can really play with and change to your liking. I'm making some right now, the potatoes are garlic/bacon/sour cream, I picked up fresh butter/sugar corn from the farm stand to steam and strip off the cobs, and I used two pounds of ground Turkey, mixed with bread crumbs, egg, kosher salt, oregano, basil, pepper, sauted mushrooms and onions and baby rays bbq sauce. I mixed together everything except the corn and potatoes and let it marinade over night, its cooking now, the smell is heavenly! I can't wait to try yours to. Enjoy, Steve
