Makes: 8 servings Total Time: 3 hr 10 min
Category: Desserts Sub Category: Pies

what you need
  • 1-1/2 cups peanut butter (chunky or creamy)
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1 tub (16 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 2 graham cracker pie crusts
  • 6 chocolate peanut butter cups
make it
Mix peanut butter, sugar, cream cheese and Cool Whip with mixer. Pour evenly into pie shells.

Chop or crumble the peanut butter cups then sprinkle on top of pies.

Chill for at least 3 hours before serving.
Instead of sugar, use a sugar substitute. Also to cut down on fat, use the 1/3 less fat pie crusts, and the 1/3 less fat cream cheese. I have also tried the low sodium peanut butter and my family didn't know the difference.

Last but not least you could freeze this pie. Just make sure to set the pie out of freezer 20-30 minutes before serving.

Rated  by darlilly1313 on 11/10/2012 I have made this pie again and again. Friends and family always request it. I think it is easier to adapt to less fat and calories. I substitute splenda for the sugar.
