what you need
- 2 packages cube steak
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 can water
- 1 can beef broth
- Salt & pepper

You have a choice with this recipe - I've done it both ways depending on my time. You can brown your steaks lightly on each side or put them in the crock-pot raw.
Add soup, water and beef broth. Stir all together and make sure that steak is covered. Add salt and pepper.
Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
Notes
The cream of chicken soup absorbs the beef flavor and makes your gravy. I serve it with creamy rice or mashed potatoes.
My family loves it and it's not messy at all (like making country style steak the old-fashioned way!) Good luck!
