Soft Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies

what you need
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 sm. package instant French vanilla pudding
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips
make it
Cream together margarine and sugars. Add vanilla and eggs and mix well.

In a small bowl sift together dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in chips.

Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
I usually buy bags of various types of chocolate and flavored chips (such as semi-sweet, milk chocolate, butterscotch, white chocolate, chocolate chunks, peanut butter chips) mix them together in a container and use 2 cups of the chip mixture in the recipe.

These cookies are best slightly underbaked.
