Burger Stroganoff with Noodles

what you need
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup minced onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 can (10 1/2 oz.) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2-3 cups hot cooked noodles
make it
Cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until meat is brown. Stir in mushroom soup and salt, simmer uncovered 10 minutes. Mix in sour cream, heat through. Serve on noodles.
This is a great fast stroganoff dinner without the steak. I found that you substitute fat-free and low-fat ingredients. Also I found that it was easier to serve by mixing the noodles and sauce together. Omitting the salt was fine but nothing else, the onion mellows out with finished meal.

My family really enjoys this one, especially my husband who has a hard time eating steak. I would recommened this one when no one has an idea for dinner, it's quick and easy.

Rated  by Songbird91670 on 5/27/2009 Delicious and easy........I added mushrooms and used an entire 12 oz package of egg noodles to make it work easily for a family of six with just a salad added.
