Chocolate Chip Cupcakes

Makes: 36 cupcakes or 9x13 cake Total Time: 1 hr

what you need
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 chocolate cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 bag chocolate chips
make it
Put water and oatmeal in microwave for 1 or 2 minutes. Place margarine on top, and cool some so eggs don't cook. Mix in other ingredients by hand except chips.

Spoon into paper lined cupcake pan. Sprinkle 1 tsp. chips on top of each cupcake or pour batter into 9x13 pan and sprinkle with chips.

Bake till done, about 20 minutes for cupcakes, and about 35 minutes for cake.
Chips should stay on top, but if they don't its no big deal, it is still very very good.

I use different flavors of chips or holiday chips.
