Easy Tuesday Night Dinner

what you need
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 can (15 oz.) corn, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz.) condensed cream of celery soup (94% fat free if you can find it)
  • 2 cups prepared Minute Rice
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
make it
In a large skillet, brown beef. Stir in corn, soup, rice, salt and pepper. Heat until warmed through.

Note: if you did not salt the water for the rice, this will need a fair amount of salt to get the right flavor.
My family loves this creamy casserole. It whips up in a flash, uses very few containers, and makes excellent leftovers for lunch the next day.

The name was an idea from a 14 year old when we needed a catchy idea for our "hamburger/corn/rice casserole".

Rated  by a cook on 8/29/2006 Very nasty after taste. Maybe if you substituted the cream of celery with something different it may make a difference. Absolutely would not make this again.
