A.1. Soup Burgers

what you need
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 pkg. Kraft Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 tablespoons A.1. Steak Sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups Minute Rice
make it
Put ground beef in a bowl. Mix in the onion soup mix, steak sauce, and pepper. Mix together and form 4 patties.

Put in a skillet and cook for 3 minutes on both sides. Add the water and simmer for 5 minutes. Turn the burger once more and bring to a boil and let set off the heat for 3 minutes.

Prepare rice according to directions on the box and serve burgers and gravy over the rice.
Notes
serve with a vegetable of your choice, green beans are my choice.

Rated  by JanH1961 on 4/7/2006 this was very tasty - my other half has been a chef so finding something with a recipe that he likes is a challenge - but he agreed to try a new routine and we made this one night. He admitted this was really good and we'll definitely be making it again. Thanks for posting it.
