Candied Yams

what you need
  • 1 can (15 oz.) whole yams
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup (melted) butter or margarine
make it
Preheat oven to 350° F.

Place yams in ungreased baking dish. Combine remaining ingredients; drizzle over yams.

Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until glazed and thoroughly heated.
Can refrigerate up to 2 days.

If desired, omit brown sugar and add 1/3 cup maple syrup.
