Black Chocolate Cake

what you need
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries or strawberries
  • 1 tub Cool Whip, thawed
make it
Mix together all dry ingredients. Add vanilla and oil. Slowly pour in boiling water and beat everything together until well mixed. Add eggs, one at a time, beating in each one well.

Pour batter into cupcakes or rectangular glass dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30 minutes until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool cake completely. Serve with fresh berries and Cool whip.
This is a very versatile cake and can be baked in any kind of pan, and used in layers. It is so moist it doesn't need frosting, only a dollop of Cool whip and berries makes it great!
